This is part of a series of 5, all based on the same light pattern falling and refracting onto a wall. I titled them "Green Error Complex" to reference the obsessive perfectionism that often comes through in my work, which also relates to modern society in general.

About the artist Katherine Lubar

Originally from Dallas, Texas and based in London, Katherine Lubar received a Post-Graduate Diploma from The City & Guilds of London Art School. She has exhibited in the UK and the US and her work is in the collection of The Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in Dallas. She was a finalist for the Evening Standard Contemporary Painting Prize in 2017 and shortlisted for the Wells Art Contemporary in 2018 and 2019. In 2020 she received a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
