Andrei Moldovan

Andrei Moldovan

Andrei Moldovan, born in Târgu Mureș (Romania) in 1989, and currently residing in La Ràpita, Catalonia.

With a diverse background that encompasses photography, graffiti, illustration, graphic design and interior design, Andrei's artistic style is strongly influenced by his accumulated visual, psychological and philosophical experiences in these fields.

His work is infused with passion and emotion, and draws on feelings of anger and love, as well as vibrant and often neutral colors. This unique blend translates into impulses that he channels into his canvases, bringing diverse textures and shapes to life.

Andrei also finds immense inspiration in Brutalist architecture, Brancusian sculptures, contemporary minimalist design as well as poorly painted walls that generate certain compositions and textures.

Coming from backgrounds in photography, graffiti, illustration, graphic design, and interior design, I allow myself to be guided by the fusion of my experiences in these fields. Blending different techniques, I translate cerebral impulses onto the canvas, creating unique textures.

We are all connected, yet each of us has a unique fingerprint. This is mine.
