Irina Georgieva was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1976. From 1997 to 2000 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, where she specialised in painting and graphic arts and trained in the master class of M. Prachensky. Patrik Werner Muchenberger, born in 1979, graduated from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland and the University of Applied Arts Vienna in Austria. Since 2017 he is an active member of the artist collective Pengpengduo.
His artistic focus is on exploring social, socio-political and cultural issues. Muchenberger transforms his precise observations into large-scale abstract paintings, which are characterized by a special artistic identity.
Jana Schumacher
