About the artwork Hot Tub No2
This work was inspired by the short time that my wife and I spent in Muir Woods, California. For me, everything appeals to painting. The process is a lively act when happiness occurs, but I am a lover of color and texture. Blue is one of the most interesting and attractive color in the palette. When I made the "Hot tub" series, I used oil sticks and tube paint of different greens, turquoise and warm blues. My focus was on to create a colorful, elegant image with a very limited palette.
